Who Should Attend

The learning series is an opportunity for teachers, leaders, and staff to dive head first into the many facets of Universal Design for Learning. While a majority of the content will be targeted towards K-12 educators, leaders and staff will find value in understanding how UDL will play a role in their schools and community and discover how UDL can be implemented into personal practices beyond the classroom.

Virtual Webinar Series

Join the Novak Education team in a 7-part immersive UDL experience. In each session, a UDL expert will take you through a universally designed virtual session so you can see UDL in action as you practice it along the way.

Each session will be posted on the course portal for asynchronous viewing.

Resources & Strategies

At the end of each session, learners will unlock access to accompanying resources to each session's topic. Learners will be able to dive further into each topic on their own schedule and begin implementing strategies into their learning environment right away!

Reflect, Assess, & Implement

Take time to self-reflect and complete a self-assessment at the end of each session within the course platform (hosted on Thinkific). With completion, each learner will receive a certificate for 8-continuing education hours. 

Use the course platform as your guide. Review the materials at any time. Access is available through 2025.

I loved the ability to watch at a later date, as my schedule didn't always allow me to tune in live. I also appreciated hearing from different presenters as a way to get different perspectives. November is usually one of the hardest times of the year teaching (kids are ready for a break, adults are exhausted, the weather is turning), and this series has kept me excited about trying something new at work. It also helped me to conceptualize a better way to reach my ELL students and my students with IEPs.

What to Expect

  • Join each interactive webinar session (7 total). See a preview! 
  • Dive deeper into the content through the course platform. Review readings and resources, the key is to self-differentiate. Choose what that works best for you and helps you better understand the content and engage with the lesson.
  • Post to the discussion board, interact with your classmates if you choose to, and make connections.
  • Complete the self-assessment in each module to earn your course certificate for 8 continuing education hours. 
  • Runs on the Thinkific platform.

I'm looking to put my learning into practice, is there a course component?

Yes! You can choose to enroll in the more in-depth version which offers the opportunity to engage and interact with fellow students and the instructor and complete assignments along the way. Find out more here. 

Do you accept POs?

Yes, if you would like to pay via PO, please email educataion@novakeducation.com to request an invoice. 

What happens after I register my team?

Once you have reviewed and approved the estimate (and have provided a PO if applicable), Novak Education will then supply you with instructions on how your individual team members can access the series.

Prior to the first session, your team will be invited to individually log in to the series portal. The online platform is where learners will be able to access all materials and resources shared within each session, can re-watch recordings, can join a community discussion to engage with fellow educators, and take time to self-access each session's learnings.

What happens after I register as an individual?

When the learning series opens in September, you will receive an email to log in to the course platform (Thinkific) so that you can review the opening module ahead of the first session on September 23rd. The online platform is where learners will be able to access all materials and resources shared within each session, can re-watch recordings, can join a community discussion to engage with fellow educators, and take time to self-access each session's learnings.

Are you a CTLE approved sponsor?

Yes, we are a CTLE-approved sponsor! Once you complete the course, email this form with section 1 completed to education@novakeducation.com. Upon receipt and confirmation of course completion, you will receive a completed form for your records within 1-3 business days. 

Do you offer Washington Clock Hours?

Yes! We offer clock hours through a partnership with ESD 112. There is an additional standard fee of $3/credit that is paid directly through PDEnroller. More details on how to submit the course for clock hours can be found under the clock hours section of the course welcome module.

We strive to run this program for all registrants. However, in the unlikely event of low enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel. In that case, we will offer you a comparable learning experience or a full refund.
