Juan Gallardo, M.Ed. has taught ESL, all levels of Spanish, and Literature for over 15 years. Juan is also a published author of 6 fiction novels. In the field of education administration, he has supported the campuses he has worked in as a technologist, coordinator of events, pedagogical consultant, magnet coordinator and is currently holding the position of Dean of Students in Sharpstown HS (Houston, Texas). He is an emerging UDL consultant spreading the good word of Universal Design in the US and the Spanish-speaking world having already presented internationally in Chile and here in the US in California, Massachusetts, and Texas.
Juan is married to his wife, Alma, and they are proud parents of 2 teenage girls. He has a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Granada (Spain) with a minor in Spanish and a Master degree in Education administration with Lamar University (TX) Juan enjoys traveling, reading, and music, and never misses a chance to visit his parents in his native Spain.
